Some Nokoru notes!

Alright, now that that's out of the way, Suoh pointed out that this space should be used for some warnings and explanations, but since Kaichou has run off to play, it's up to me to give you all a heads up! You see... there are somethings you should be aware of before playing with Nokoru, because it would near about kill him if he accidentally upset you!
1 - Nokoru is a 6th grader. He's a kid. So yes, a lot of what he says sounds like over the top flirting... but that's just how he speaks. He is never trying to make anyone uncomfortable, especially females, and he is NOT trying to get anywhere with a girl/woman, or trying to get anything from her other than a smile. He really honestly means what he says (well, except when he promises to work or to be serious...) and is not actually trying to flirt. So when he says "you are beautiful when you cry, but effervescent when you smile" it is not a line. PLEASE remember he is a child.
2 - Fourth wall. It doesn't happen often, but the characters occasionally comment on the structure of their own story. "In the first chapter we filled a real estate office with a zooful of animals, in the second chapter the culprit was a bird," He will not recognize anyone else from anything, but he is occasionally genre savvy.
3 - Mary Sue in a straight fiction world. Okay, his world is more or less the "real" world. If that real world had a school full of the super elite. The student council, for some reason is the creme de la creme in a school that is already filled only with the best of the best. So to show this, they are often doing things that logic says should not be possible for elementary school kids. They do all have flaws, but they are good at working around them and hiding them, and in Nokoru's case, a girl in distress can even temporarily circumvent his weaknesses. So... he is brilliant and sueish normally. When a female is upset, he goes through the roof. This is commented on in canon as being notable, and even shocking.
Nokoru lectures at the university level on the physics of time travel and the relativity of space. He has a photographic memory, and is BRILLIANT. He is, in 6th grade, a literal rocket scientist. in a flashback to when he was in 3rd grade, we are told that NASA has been trying to recruit him for YEARS. He has been kidnapped for his brain. The boy is BRILLIANT.
How does he apply this brilliance? He is acutely aware of the habits, schedule, and likes of every single girl and/or woman in Clamp School. I will discuss this OOC before he uses it, but he canonically has meta level knowledge of any woman he encounters, even when the readers do not. He often solves cases by noticing deviations from routines in girls (The ghost and the cats case) or by knowing their routines well (The Valentine's day caper). Please presume that if your female character has ever said anything publicly over network, he knows it. Please accept that as an actual human with a fallible memory, I the player, might need to be reminded. I will also attempt to do research whenever he is in a scientific discussion.
We are shown in canon that when Nokoru buckles down to work, he can do enormous amounts of work in a very short time, but it is hard to get him to focus enough to do the work. So without a Suoh in play, this may never actually come up. But he can fill out, read, sign, and file paperwork that looms over his desk from all sides in under an hour.
His fan - it has words on it, the words change to suit his mood and the discussion. It just happens. People just accept it. Given Clamp School, it is probably tech. Do not ask where the dramatic flourishes like rose petals or devil horns come from.....
He has one major weakness - athletics. He is HORRIBLE at athletics, and it is a sore spot for him. He can dance, of course, but forget sports or feats of physical strength. In a fight he is - at best - a meat shield. He threw himself in front of Suoh when they met to take a bullet from him, but was useless at aiding in their escape in any other way (physically, that is. He was able to tell that there was a trap door by the sound of the floor, and was able to find it and figure out how to trigger it while Suoh kept the guards distracted....)
Now... here is where everything he can't do and all natural and realistic laws of physics and logic go out the window. When a woman is in distress....
When a female is in distress (which can be anything from a lost pet to a woman afraid for her very life) he seems to gain superhuman abilities (which is commented on in canon). He can see a woman crying from pretty much any distance. (He spots a woman on the observation deck of Tokyo tower crying while is is in a blimp above it.) He can jump from a height and stick the landing, and then RUN, to get to a crying girl. Any other time, he WILL hurt himself trying. To help a woman he can actually focus, he can be serious, he can be athletic, he can be super observant. He can eat an a mountain of candy twice his height without gaining a pound to keep from hurting the feelings of a single girl on valentine's day...
Nokoru won't chose any one girl to lavish attention on, and will not date, as he sees both things to be too dangerous for the girl in question. He will run from his groupies, except of Valentine's day.
If your character is female, be prepared to be flattered and flustered and assisted. If your character is male, be prepared to potentially have a friend who is a bit of a loose canon. If your character is male and is trying to make Nokoru focus on a task and/or be serious.... Suoh-san wishes you the best of luck, and will be waiting with one of Akira's best cakes, and some tea, when you break down....
